Married to Belinda with three children, Shaggle69 starting playing poker in the summer of 2006 after a friend won a free package to the WSOP Main Event and thought that he would simply ‘have to have a go’.
A post-graduate holding a degree in Sports Science and IT, the combination of competition, online play and monetary reward was simply irresistible to a bored, balding and largely sedentary fat bloke.
Shaggle69 has competed in a range of sports from golf to soccer, chess to kickboxing, with poker his latest obsession.
When asked between hands;
"Why poker?”
You'll hear him explain;
“Well, the combination of mathematic analysis coupled with strategic meta game decision making.....oh great, that bloody fish just rivered a two outer on me again, sodding game, it’s all freaking luck and frustration!”
Six years later and 3 stones heavier, Shaggle69 is setting hard targets for the year.....
